VCST is Supplier of the Year!

Despite the many difficulties Covid-19 kept throwing our way, 2021 has proven to be a very successful year. In addition to our ‘Supplier of the Year 2021′ award by Cummins, we also recently received the ‘Supplier of the Year 2021’ award by one of the premier Tier One transmission manufacturers that we supply!
The award was given based on the manufacturer’s team evaluation including Supplier Scorecards, which proved to be ‘excellent’ in the case of VCST. The project in question, also known as ‘The Edison project‘, is a very important one regarding electrification and the future of automotive. The Edison project is a key program in VCST’s shift toward supplying for new E-vehicles. This makes recognition extra rewarding.
Through new process technologies, VCST was able to offer an alternative production strategy towards our customer, changing a two-piece assembly into a one-piece construction, eliminating further complications and increasing reliability, durability and proving simpler and more cost-effective for the customer. With collaboration, commitment and a true partnership approach between our customer and VCST, we were able to meet with the increasing demands on this popular new E-vehicle.
For this award, we want to thank both the Mexican and the Belgian VCST team for their hard work, dedication and excellent engineering skills to make this project a success.
We are looking forward to a continuous relationship and future E-vehicle projects that shape the future of automotive.
