VCST is Supplier of the Year!

Just like 2020, 2021 has proven to be a year like no other. The pandemic still has an impact on our day-to-day lives and therefore, it’s not easy to keep spirits up every day. But that is exactly what the VCST family has been doing since the start of Covid-19. Because of this, it is even more so fantastic to receive recognition for the hard work of our team. That recognition came from our customer Cummins, at their annual Cummins (online) Supplier Recognition event.
With the annual awards, suppliers of Cummins are celebrated for the way they contribute in different categories. Categories range from Best Practices, Safety, Best Quality and more. Supplier awards were given this year at regional and global levels; an important award given at both the regional and global level is the Direct Supplier of the Year award.

To be nominated as the Supplier of the Year, among Cummins’ many suppliers, is an achievement on its own. Of course, it is even a greater honor to win the award. Therefore, we are extremely proud and honored to have received the prestigious Direct Supplier of the Year award for North America.
All credits for this award go to the VCST Mexico and INC teams and the global sourcing and engineering departments for their continuous hard work to secure supply continuity to the Cummins plants. With expedites on raw material and finished goods, a lot of overtime and many hours spent by management and production to meet the targets of Cummins deliveries, VCST managed to avert any impact to customer engine build.
We want to thank Cummins for their recognition by giving us this award. Off to a continuous partnership with the same motivation and dedication we have been giving since day one! Let’s make 2022 just as outstanding.
