5th Supplier of the Year award for VCST!

On September 9th ,2021, the Supplier of the Year awards 2020 by Continental took place. Due to Corona, the awards were granted in an online ceremony. Almost 200 participants of Continental suppliers around the world attended the awards ceremony. Chairman of Board of Directors, Nicolai Setzer, kicked off the event by talking about business challenges for Continental and gave an outlook for the coming months.
And the award goes to…
After an interesting speech, it was time for the awards. Suppliers were awarded in twelve categories and based on four pillars: company, deliveries, quality and cost. VCST Reichenbach is proud to have received a Supplier of the Year award in the category aluminum extrusion and machining. This marks the fifth award in this category for VCST Reichenbach since 2002.
A nice way to celebrate
Continental granted VCST this award based on the following: superior delivery performance and consignment stock management, high reliability and flexibility, outstanding quality achievement regarding incidents and PPM reduction. Furthermore, Continental was impressed by our close cooperation, communication and fast responsiveness.
We are extremely honored to receive this recognition for 2020, especially since this was a very challenging year for everybody. The award is a nice way of celebrating the 20th anniversary of our VCST plant in Reichenbach. It is a motivation for our whole team to continue with the same ambition and power as we have done from day one.
We see this award as a reassurance for our high quality products and flexibility. We work hard to exceed customer expectations and look forward to share our expertise with even more clients in future projects.
