VCST de México doubles production capacity

In 2022, VCST de Mexico started an ambitious project: the construction of a 3700 m² building to increase production and office space for the plant in Léon, Mexico.

If you know that 2000 m² can fit about 200 cars, 4.7 basketball courts or one supermarket, then you may get a proper view of how much space 3700 m² is.
The expansion results in a production capacity double the capacity of what it used to be before construction. Before the expansion, VCST Mexico manufactured 450 thousand gears per year. It is expected that the expansion will result in an increase to 1.1 million gears per year.
The construction was completed at the end of last year. The inauguration included opening the building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the new production and office space for the attendees. We’re excited to see our plant grow and the enthusiasm it brings to our team!
